Dr. Kate McManus is a Board Certified Chiropractor specializing in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston College with a degree in Sociology and earned her doctorate in Chiropractic and her master of science in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut.
Dr. McManus completed internships in pain management, rehabilitation and physical medicine at several hospitals in Connecticut. She also received training in Mind Body Medicine and Stress Management from the Benson-Henri Institute for Mind Body Medicine, affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. McManus specializes in neck and back pain management, headaches, stress reduction, soft tissue injuries, and non-surgical treatment of disc and nerve injuries. In addition, she treats painful conditions of the extremities including overuse injuries such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis. She also has clinical expertise in nutrition, women’s health, infertility and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. McManus’s goal is to help patients return to normal, pain-free functioning as quickly as possible and to teach them lifestyle strategies to enhance their health and prevent re-injury.
