DR. CHRISTINE KUHLMAN graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona in 1997.
Before going to medical school she worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife in the Concord community for 18 years.
She attempts to balance the best of both worlds of medicine, having started out practicing Conventional medicine and now branching out into the Alternative/Complementary family practice of Naturopathic medicine.
Her expertise is in women's health; from adolescent health issues through post-menopausal health concerns.
Her other special interests are in helping individuals with chronic health problems such as: auto-immune illnesses (i.e. lupus, MS, arthritis, fibromyalgia, etc.), chronic fatigue, cancer treatment and cancer prevention, anxiety and depression. It is always a joy for her to assist individuals who wish help with prevention of illness.
She incorporates in her practice of Naturopathy: nutritional counseling; botanical (herbal) medicine, both Western and Chinese; Homeopathy; vitamin/mineral supplement and dietary advice; relaxation and inner guidance help with meditation, guided visualization, deep breathing techniques and some neuro-fascial release energy work.
