PAT
SMITH, LMT has been working at the Center for Integrative Medicine
since it opened in 1999, serving as the practice manager.
She has been in the healthcare field for over 15
years, working behind the scenes, playing a pivotal role in keeping the
medical office running smoothly.
While working as a liaison between patients,
providers, and insurance companies, Pat discovered one of her
true joys was the time spent helping patients find their way through
the maze of the complicated health care system.
This lead to a personal journey in which she
realized that there needed to be more of a balance between the amount
of time spent helping the whole Center function, with the amount of
time spent working with people individually and helping them in their
healing path.
Pat went back to school and graduated from the New
Hampshire Technical Institute in Nashua, NH with a certificate in Massage Therapy in 2001.
She has since attended additional training in Hot Stone Massage and now
feels it is an important part of her work.
She loves combining the soothing warmth of the hot stones with the
techniques of traditional Swedish Massage to achieve a deeper level.
She also has advanced training in Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage,
and Massage for patients with Cancer.
She finds that it is an absolute pleasure to work
together with the talented providers at the Center in such a
stimulating, holistic, and nurturing environment.
