LYNDA RAMOS graduated with a BA in Fine Arts from the University of New Hampshire in 1989 and decided to enter her family run Automobile Dealership. She was, however, discouraged with the lack of spiritual focus in her life and soon after the birth of her daughter, Lynda decided to make a dynamic shift in careers.
Combining her love for the Arts and a strong desire to help others she began school for massage therapy in 1995.
She graduated from NorthEastern Institute of Whole Health where she received training in a variation of modalities including Swedish, neuromuscular, shiatsu, reflexology to mention a few.
Recently, she attended a class on stone massage and is very excited to incorporate it into her work at the Center. Stone massage combines the heat of the stones working the muscles at a deeper level for a very melting effect on tight muscles.
In February 2010 Lynda received her neuromuscular certification thru Jeff Mahadeen's Muscular Wellness Institute. Neuromuscular certification allows Lynda to use this manual therapy to help people who are suffering from myofascial pain. The focus of these techniques are to treat and alleviate myofascial pain and dysfunction, with a primary focus on deactivating trigger points.
Lynda is a sports enthusiasts and enjoys aerobics, strength training and horseback riding. Lynda spends many hours training and riding her horses. She is an diehard animal lover and often utilizes Equine massage and Tellington-Touch with her animals. Lynda, her husband, David and daughter Emily share a small farmhouse in Concord. During the summer, Lynda enjoys camping with her family and friends.
Lynda feels very privileged to work at the Center which incorporates Holistic Healthcare with Traditional Medicine.
She is eager to gain new insight and benefit through this synergistic approach towards improved healthcare.
