She is also a certified massage therapist and a Reiki I practitioner.

Nancy graduated from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 1999 with a Masters of Science in Nursing.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience of complementary therapies to her work as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

Over the years, Nancy's interest in holistic health has led her to study stress management, psychotherapy, nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, meditation, and yoga.

Formerly on staff at Cape Code Hospital and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Nancy also has extensive experience in Pain Management. She joined the Center for Integrative Medicine (CFIM) in 2003.

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Nancy taught science at the elementary level, and was named Environmental Teacher of the Year by the Massachusetts Audubon Society. A former Outward Bound instructor and avid mountain climber, Nancy was the recipient of a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, which allowed her to travel around the world studying outdoor education programs.

She has a BA in biology and philosophy from Connecticut College from which she graduated magna cum laude in 1984.

Nancy is delighted to be part of the CFIM team.

Nancy provides contraceptive advice, annual GYN exams, care for menopausal and hormonal concerns, treatment for acute gynecological problems, and preventive health care.

She brings a holistic perspective to her care for women of all ages.

She enjoys working with patients to find a treatment plan best suited to their individual needs and preferences, drawing upon the best of both conventional and complementary therapies.
