Jeanne Ann Whittington, M.Ac., Lic.Ac. graduated from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, Maryland in 1990, and completed a three year program in Chinese herbal medicine at White Pine Healing Arts in Amherst, Massachusetts in 2002. She is nationally certified as both an acupuncturist and an herbalist.
Jeanne Ann was originally drawn to the study of Oriental medicine because of its emphasis on restoring balance and supporting the body's own capacity to heal, and she enjoys helping patients become actively involved in cultivating their own well-being.
She has worked closely with patients with a wide variety of complaints, from acute pain to more complicated, chronic disorders.
She has found Oriental medicine to be a strong complement to conventional treatments in areas such as women's health issues, stress-related health problems, and in providing support for on-going health conditions.
Having practiced in Massachusetts for 10 years before moving her practice to Concord, Jeanne Ann was involved in the legislative effort to create acupuncture licensing in New Hampshire.
She is currently serving as the chair of the New Hampshire Board of Acupuncture Licensing.
